The increase of 0.5% is expected, however inflation is always a problem and US still has the choice of increasing fed rate on a fast pace which allows them to control the market to a certain extent. But at least market may become more stable in short run.
Next FOMC meeting is June 14. 15. Be aware.

Yes, that was expected, people now start worrying about tightening QE. VIX is now at around 33x, which by definition is worth investing.
